The 2021 LTD is ideal for Surf racing, Technical Racing, and a variety of windy and bumpy ocean conditions. This high-end, versatile race board is so user friendly it can be paddled by professional racers, as well as entry-level racers. The LTD design offers the greatest acceleration and control of any 404 race model. The proven design has been given more volume to improve glide and stability in rough conditions.
The tail has been widened on the narrower models to provide more stability during buoy turns, launching and in moving conditions or downwinders. The LTD is ideal for surf and bigger waves but also for sprints or shorter distances.
Lastly, a slightly recessed deck has been added to the board to increase rider stability and increase the waterline volume of the board by up to 8%, while reducing the weight of the board by up to 2 kg.
Paddler size and difficulty
This is a versatile board for every paddler. The 23″ board is ideal for more experienced paddlers between 75 and 82 kg or for inexperienced paddlers under 60 kg. The 26” board is great for beginners and in rough conditions.
